We arrived the next morning in Alesund, Norway. After a massive fire in 1904, this town was rebuilt in the art nouveau style.
On this voyage our NatGeo photographer is Sisse Brimberg,

Sisse has given two presentations so far. We have gotten to know her personal story, dealing with dyslexia, yet managing to land a photojournalist position with National Geographic in 1976. (At least three of her photographs have been on the cover of the magazine.j
Sisse led the photo walk in Alesund where we walked by colorful buildings along a canal.

After the photo walk some of us headed to the park. There we saw this monkey puzzle tree.

From my photo walk I began to see things differently.

Since our trip began my travel buddy Charlotte has collected some assorted treasures.

Next day we will arrive in Shetland.
Best.
